Pool Gilded Extrafine Merino Sock

Gilded Extrafine Merino Sock is 437 yds (400 m) / 100 g of 80% Extrafine SW Merino, 15% Nylon, 5% Gold Stellina.  It knits up at 28 sts x 36 rows over 10 cm (4") on 3 mm (US 2 needles). 

Pool is a light aqua blue with some select cobalt specks and splashes that came miraculously at the end of a long dye session's unused waste dye and it couldn't be prettier.  Twinkling with gold stellina sparkles this Improvakind result is sure to please.

Extrafine merino has a finer micron count than 95% of what is commonly available.   This yarn adds a bit of gold sparkle to Extrafine Merino reinforced with a touch of sturdy nylon.  Bouncy 4 ply construction gives the best stitch definition. So very soft, strengthened and with gold sparkle, what’s not to love?  This yarn can be machine washed, delicate cycle but we opt to hand wash in cool water and lay flat to dry.

Colors may vary slightly from the picture, due to lighting conditions, camera calibration and your computer monitor settings. The color in this yarn has been set and rinsed however even commercial dyes may bleed in the wash.

This yarn is hand dyed and ready to ship!  While best practices are used to maintain consistency with all colorways, all hand-dyed yarn is unique.  Identical skeins are the exception.  Please double check your project requirements and order quantities to complete your project so that your skeins are best matched. This is an Improvakind colorway, dyed with recycled dyestock and an exploratory heart.
