Summer Day Sock

Sock is 400 yds (365 m) / 100 g of 100% SW Merino.  It knits up at 28 - 36 sts over 10 cm (4") on 3 mm (US 2) needles.  This yarn can be machine washed, delicate cycle but we still opt to hand wash in cool water and lay flat to dry.

Summer Day is a sweet light warm tonal yellow that shows up so beautifully across projects.  Never flat but not a show stealer either, just steady nuanced supportive yellow color for all your projects.  It is lighter than Honey Gold (shown on R for comparison sake 4th photo).  Colors may vary slightly from the picture, due to lighting conditions, camera calibration and your computer monitor settings. The color in this yarn has been set and rinsed however even commercial dyes may bleed in the wash.  

Sometimes you just want merino.  No nylon, no stellina, no cashmere, no fluff, just tried and true SW merino in a wonderful not too light 2 ply base.  Great drape for shawls, beautiful color take-up, bouncy ply for strong wear, this is an excellent all around base sock yarn.  This yarn can be machine washed, delicate cycle but we opt to hand wash in cool water and lay flat to dry.
