Cable Fuzz Extrafine Merino Sock

Extrafine Merino Sock is 390 yds (360 m) / 100 g of 85% Extrafine SW Merino, 15% Nylon.  It knits up at 28 sts x 36 rows over 10 cm (4") on 3.25 mm (US 3 needles). 

Cable Fuzz is a light, not so solid grey base with a joyful rainbow of speckles.  Cable Fuzz is inspired by a relic of my misspent youth, late night television binges ended surreptitiously by the screen telling me in no uncertain terms that I have taken it too far.  It's a beautiful creamy grey 'confettied' over with a rainbow of speckles and splashed.  This colorway plays quite well with both Slate and Four Wheels on a Gravel Road.

Extrafine merino has a finer micron count than 95% of what is commonly available.  I chose all SW Merino sock yarns without nylon until I felt this 2 ply yarn.  It’s so very soft, reinforced enough for socks and mitts and sensational next to skin, I can personally recommend this yarn without reservation. This yarn can be machine washed, delicate cycle but we opt to hand wash in cool water and lay flat to dry.

Colors may vary slightly from the picture, due to lighting conditions, camera calibration and your computer monitor settings. The color in this yarn has been set and rinsed however even commercial dyes may bleed in the wash.

This yarn is hand dyed and ready to ship!  While best practices are used to maintain consistency with all colorways, all hand-dyed yarn is unique.  Identical skeins are the exception.  Please double check your project requirements and order quantities to complete your project so that your skeins are best matched. This is an Improvakind colorway, once it's gone, it's gone forever.
