Fire Opal Sock Light

Sock Light is 463 yds (425 m) / 100 g of 75% SW Merino, 25% Nylon.  It knits up at 28 - 32 sts x 36 - 40 rows on 2 -3 mm (US 0 - 2 1/2) needles. 

Fire Opal is kind of an astonishing color.  It's sooooo pink.  Bright bold pink over light ember.  It's an advancing, jump out of your colorwork and your make eyes break eye contact and look back because they just can't help it kind of color.  

Sock Light is about as perfect a light sock yarn as has ever been seen. The yardage is wonderful, the additional nylon reinforces the merino for hard wearing projects.  It happily takes dye, is next to skin soft with a drape that is appropriate for shawls and such.  This yarn can be machine washed, delicate cycle but we still opt to hand wash in cool water and lay flat to dry. 

Colors may vary slightly from the picture, due to lighting conditions, camera calibration and your computer monitor settings. The color in this yarn has been set and rinsed however even commercial dyes may bleed in the wash.

This yarn is hand dyed and ready to ship!  While best practices are used to maintain consistency with all colorways, all hand-dyed yarn is unique.  Identical skeins are the exception.  Please double check your project requirements and order quantities to complete your project so that your skeins are best matched. This is an Improvakind colorway created with recycled unused dye and an exploratory heart.  Once it's gone, it's gone forever!
